To Bob

One of the best live shows around with respected musicians from various bands. They have been playing together for over 2 years as To Bob. The band are available for bookings, for your local venue (Pubs Clubs) to your private function (Brithday party, Theme nights) also ideal for festivals college and university balls. Inspired by Bob Dylan, The Faces,The Rolling Stones, The Band and all live music.

in the beginning

To Bob was originally formed for our own entertainment in a West end Studio on one wet afternoon in 2002. After the first song we ever jammed together we all knew this was a magic line-up that played with raw emotion, feeling and most important of all it sounded like a Dylan band. So we decided to take the band on the road to check out the reception by sharing the sound of To Bob with other Dylan fans. After two supports at the Astoria and about ten pub gigs we were asked to play at a Xmas party for a top Music Company. The show was filmed live and parts of the performance can be seen on this link. Every body that saw the band that night advised us to go professional. We decided to give the band a chance as a Dylan tribute band. The To Bob band was born.

Unplugged

To Bob can also be booked as Unplugged, a choice of a duo or trio, Bob with one or two musicians for the more tradtional Dylan fan.
