The Sound Engineer

Ronny Rocka started mixing tracks at the age of 15 with his own demo's on a 4 track portastudios. After recording many albums with the likes of Slodgenessabounds, Angelic Upstarts, the Godfathers and many more he got into Producing as well as engineering of both live sound and studio recording . He produced demos for bands like the Heartbreak Angels and an all girl band with a male frontman called The Mother Machine from whom he latter went on to manage until they split in 1990. Ronny started working for the main rock & roll entertainment production and rehearsals company John Henry's in London 91. He Learned want he could from all top sound engineers that passed by and by setting up the sound for 5 to 7 bands who rehearsed at John Henry's each day. Doing this job for three years is like doing 10 gigs a day. After 12 years at John's he stated his own Rock & Roll transport company Rock mobiles and hired out self drive slitterbuses and himself as a package, 'Bus and Van driver, tour manager and sound man all for one price'. He ended up being very busy working for Hazel O'Connor and Dogs D' amour among other up and coming bands like Birdland, Death Angel,Uriar Heep to superstars like George Michael and Prince. Rock Mobiles ended after his silent partner decided to part company leaving him with one bus, after phone calls in the middle of the night from Europe stating that the bus had broken down, he called it a day and went on to just tour mangering and out front sound. Ronny worked all over the world with many artists and worked on many tours. Ronny is available to this day as a tour manager and out front sound. Contact E-Mail.
