Darrel's Top 5 Dylan Songs

  1. Joey. A fine portrayal of New York gangster Joey Gallo-poetically speaking.

  2. Going going gone. I love Robbie Robertson's biting Stratocaster on this 73 tune.

  3. Winterlude. An obscure "new morning" gem

  4. Just like a Woman Nobody feels any pain" sounds good Givin it some!

  5. Absolutely sweet Marie. Got to include something from Blonde on Blonde. (1966), the first double-LP album ever, remains one of rock's all-time masterpieces: two lengthy, rambling, free-form, organ-driven elegies, Visions Of Johanna and Sad Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands, and a bunch of arcanely haunting melodies (I WantYou, Absolutely Sweet Marie, One Of Us Must Know) completely changed the landscape of rock music.
